It's important to be comfortable and at ease with headstands on land, before embarking on attempting them on your SUP board.

This is a supported headstand with the fingers interlaced to cup the back of the head, taking most of the weight from the neck by pressing away from the board with the base of the hands, forearms and elbows. Another variation is Tripod, and as it says, there are three points of connection on the board; your palms and the top of your head. More weight therefore is placed on the head and neck.
