A 60min morning sequence ideal for waking up the body and mind after a nights sleep. Designed to release tightness in the front and back gates of the body by easing in to back bends, forward folds, rotations and side stretches to give the maximum potential to your spine waking up naturally and slowly, including some strengthening work for the legs and spine in some standing lunges.

A block or two could be helpful for this practice, but not necessary and padding under the knee should you be on a hard surface is optional when working on the knees.
