30min Yoga for the feet, ankles, legs & hips - grounding and releasing practice for the root chakra Free
Adrianne @ Indyoga15 May 2024 • Duration: 31 Minutes
A 30min reclined and seated practice that targets tightness, tension and much needed release in the joints, muscles and connective tissue of the lower body including toes, feet, ankles, knees, legs, and hips.
This sequence also adds focus to the root (muladhara) chakra, located at the pelvic floor that governs our safety, security, and belonging. Therefore this practice is also great when you are feeling off kilter or been travelling and need some grounding.
This practice helps to have some props to fill space between you and the earth either a block, bolster or cushion and also a strap may be helpful, but you can use a belt or a non-stretchy towel or band.
