A calm, sensory-aware parent & child yoga and movement session for families with SEND / neurodivergent children (ages 6–12).

This weekly 60-minute class blends gentle movement, breathing and simple mindfulness to support:
Emotional regulation
Body awareness
Confidence and connection

Led by a trauma-sensitive instructor who is SEND-trained and a SEND parent, this session is designed to feel predictable, respectful and pressure-free.

Children can join in at their own pace, take breaks when needed, and use a quiet sensory corner for regulation time.

Important details (please read)
Ages: 6–12
Cost: FREE (Sport England funded)
Venue: North Harrow Library (quiet/private area)
Group size: Limited spaces to keep it calm and safe
Booking: Released in 5-week blocks (same time each week)
Spaces are first-come, first-served.

Who attends
One parent/carer per child (parents are encouraged to participate)
This is not a “perfect behaviour” space. It’s a regulation space.

What to bring
If you have one: your own mat (limited mats on site)
Any comfort item your child likes: cushion / blanket / small toy (no noisy toys please)
Water bottle

Register (one-time form + waiver)
Please complete the booking form and Inner Light waiver before your 24 hours before your first session. If we do not receive this your place will be cancelled and offered to another family.

If you can’t attend, please cancel your space so another family can join. No shows will lead to all subsequent bookings being cancelled.
