A restful, relaxing practice. Excellent for beginners, injury recovery, stress management. Get your soft, supportive props from the cupboards quietly and find yourself reclined in only a few poses for this hour. Deeply releasing with steady breath, eye pillows, and a few readings to add education in between relaxing music.

A traditionally taught practice with pranayama, asana and svasana to begin and end the session. Discomfort rises as we sink into a posture for minimum of 5 breaths with a focus on proper alignment to prevent injury.Modifications are offered in every pose, and props may be used to support the body.

This year we bring our Mindfulness program out to the forest- practicing with a buddy class or individual classes to support the needs of that class and teacher. Supporting the staff, students, Educational assistants and working closely with the admin and liaison teacher.
