Ashtanga is a traditional and dynamic yoga practice hailing from Mysore (India) originated in the Vinyasa Krama practices of Krishnamacharya.
It is made up of 6 series with a fixed order of postures, adaptable to all levels of students.
Practitioners progressively learn the Primary and Second series through a methodical approach where each student receives the utmost attention and individual adjustments and where the focus is given on the principes of alignment and breathing.

The atmosphere of the class induces students to challenge themselves physically and emotionally while practicing in a mindful, non competitive and energetic environment.

Meet Valérie

Valérie was first introduced to yoga through her philosophical studies, which sparked a deep interest that led her to begin her yoga journey in France in 2012 under the guidance of Amanda Dates. In 2014, she relocated to Malaysia, where she completed a Teacher Training Course in Hatha Yoga.

Over the next six years, Valérie taught in various studios across Kuala Lumpur while continuing her personal practice in both Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga. During her time in Asia, she also traveled to Mysore, India — the heartland of Ashtanga — to deepen her practice and explore a range of traditional yogic disciplines.

In 2020, Valérie moved to Malta, where she continues her journey of personal study and growth. Passionate about the Ashtanga method, she is now dedicated to cultivating a supportive community of Ashtanga practitioners on the island.
