Clarice Bowen
Clarice is a 200-RYT who earned her certification in 2023 at One Soul Yoga. She has practiced
yoga since 1990 in various locations across the globe and has attended and taught yoga retreats in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, and overseas in Greece, Costa Rica, Germany, Sweden, Austria, and Italy. Clarice is skilled in Hatha Yoga, familiar with Yin yoga, and restorative yoga. In addition, Clarice holds certification as a Master Herbalist and is interested in Holistic Health and wellness. Clarice feels that yoga and meditation have given her the framework for a healthy happy life, and she enjoys the practice and teachings of yoga. Clarice wants to offer the mobility and flexibility benefits of yoga to everyone. Aging with full mobility and flexibility is a personal goal of hers.

Join us at One Soul Yoga for a cozy and creative hands-on Harvest Moon & Fall Blessing Broom Workshop on Saturday, October 4 at 5 pm with Clarice. In this seasonal workshop you will learn to make your choice of a Harvest Moon wreath or your very own handcrafted blessing broom, also known as a besom. These beautifully adorned brooms have been used for centuries as spiritual tools to clear energy, protect the home, and welcome blessings.
In this workshop, we will:
Create personalized wreaths and brooms using seasonal elements such as herbs, flowers and ribbons
Learn the significance and symbolism of each craft
Charge your broom or wreath with intentions, cleansing, and abundance
Blessing brooms are traditionally used to sweep away negative energy from your home or sacred space and invite positive energy and protection. They are often placed near doorways as a symbol of keeping the home safe and blessed.
Leave the class with your own fall-inspired blessing broom to honor the season and bring warmth and peace into your space. Get ready to craft, connect, and bring blessings into your home!
This workshop is $25/person and advanced registration is required so that we may have enough supplies for everyone. No refunds or credits for no shows or late cancelations.
