Pop-Up: EMBODYED

Lisa Carter
I’ve loved to dance for as long as I can remember. From the time I was a little girl in a tutu, I knew there was something magical about movement. It’s where I’ve always felt most alive. Through movement, we can quiet the noise, reconnect with our intuition, and rediscover a sense of freedom, joy, and aliveness that’s already there.
When I discovered Embodyed, something clicked. I loved the way it brought together the joy of dancing with the deeper gifts of movement, taking us on a journey out of our heads and into our bodies—where we can access the wisdom, intuition, feelings, and emotions that are already there, waiting to be heard. I knew I wanted to build onto my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training to bring that experience to my own community.
I also believe women are meant to gather. We become more alive when we feel connected, safe, seen, heard, valued, and understood. That’s the kind of space I want to create: one where you can move without worrying about what it looks like, experience deep joy in your body, get a little silly, and maybe discover something about yourself along the way.
I’m playful, adventurous, and drawn to experiences that feel big, bold, meaningful, and a little outside the ordinary—and I especially love experiencing them in community.
Your body has something to say. Let’s dance and listen.
Description
Join Lisa, a licensed EMBODYED instructor, for a movement and dance experience on Monday, October 19 at 6 pm at One Soul Yoga & Wellness Center.
EMBODYED is a therapeutic dance experience created by Nikki Norenberg and shared through a growing community of licensed instructors.
It’s designed to help you shake off what you’ve been carrying and reconnect to the part of you that’s been waiting to come alive.
Through fluid, expressive, full-body movement, you’ll experience the language of your body without judgment and give yourself permission to be fully expressed and at home in your own skin.
This is where stuck energy begins to move, confidence grows from the inside out and you remember what it feels like to be completely, unapologetically YOU.
No dance experience required-just an open and curious heart.
