Lisa Carter
I’ve loved to dance for as long as I can remember. From the time I was a little girl in a tutu, I knew there was something magical about movement. It’s where I’ve always felt most alive. Through movement, we can quiet the noise, reconnect with our intuition, and rediscover a sense of freedom, joy, and aliveness that’s already there.
When I discovered Embodyed, something clicked. I loved the way it brought together the joy of dancing with the deeper gifts of movement, taking us on a journey out of our heads and into our bodies—where we can access the wisdom, intuition, feelings, and emotions that are already there, waiting to be heard. I knew I wanted to build onto my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training to bring that experience to my own community.
I also believe women are meant to gather. We become more alive when we feel connected, safe, seen, heard, valued, and understood. That’s the kind of space I want to create: one where you can move without worrying about what it looks like, experience deep joy in your body, get a little silly, and maybe discover something about yourself along the way.
I’m playful, adventurous, and drawn to experiences that feel big, bold, meaningful, and a little outside the ordinary—and I especially love experiencing them in community.
Your body has something to say. Let’s dance and listen.
