Emma earned her 200-hour certification from One Soul Yoga in 2023.She started her yoga journey at One Soul in 2021 and fell in love with the atmosphere of the studio and the benefits of yoga. She would love to provide those same feelings for others through her classes - creating a safe, judgment-free space to work on our practice. Her other passions are coffee, plants, and books. Her loves are her husband and her dogs!

Rachel (CYT 500) began practicing yoga in 2014 at Brick House Yoga in Sulphur Springs. She was training for a half-marathon at the time and wanted to use yoga to prevent injury and aid in stress relief to reduce migraine headaches. While a yoga practice was perfect for both of these goals, she found so much more on the mat. Without a doubt, the yoga mat is the first place she has ever experienced complete non-judgment. It is where she learned self-acceptance, presence and stillness--and it is where she started a journey of self-discovery that continues today. In short, yoga changed her life. She holds additional certification in Restorative, Yin and Trauma Informed Yoga and has a special interest in teaching body-positive classes and classes geared for beginners.

Clarice is skilled in Hatha Yoga, familiar with Yin yoga, and restorative yoga. In addition, Clarice holds certification as a Master Herbalist and is interested in Holistic Health and wellness. Clarice feels that yoga and meditation have given her the framework for a healthy happy life, and she enjoys the practice and teachings of yoga. Clarice wants to offer the mobility and flexibility benefits of yoga to everyone. Aging with full mobility and flexibility is a personal goal of hers.

Early morning is considered the “divine time” in yogic discipline—as you are able to better connect with your mind, body and spirit before the daily distractions begin.
Sunrise Sunday helps you boost your energy, bring you peace of mind and help you with focus as you move through your day. This class will be held outside just as the sun rises on our beautiful yoga platform, weather permitting. We will take it inside the studio if needed.

Clarice Bowen
Clarice is a 200-RYT who earned her certification in 2023 at One Soul Yoga. She has practiced
yoga since 1990 in various locations across the globe and has attended and taught yoga retreats in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, and overseas in Greece, Costa Rica, Germany, Sweden, Austria, and Italy. Clarice is skilled in Hatha Yoga, familiar with Yin yoga, and restorative yoga. In addition, Clarice holds certification as a Master Herbalist and is interested in Holistic Health and wellness. Clarice feels that yoga and meditation have given her the framework for a healthy happy life, and she enjoys the practice and teachings of yoga. Clarice wants to offer the mobility and flexibility benefits of yoga to everyone. Aging with full mobility and flexibility is a personal goal of hers.

Join us at One Soul Yoga for a special Full Pink Moon in Libra Ceremony with Clarice on Sunday, April 13 at 8 pm. This sacred gathering helps us honor the energy of the full moon and embrace balance, beauty, and connection. This free class is open to everyone.
The Full Pink Moon—named after the blooming wild phlox of spring—is a time of renewal, growth, and blossoming potential. In Libra, the zodiac sign of balance, love, and relationships, this moon encourages us to seek harmony within ourselves and in our connections and embrace self-love. A Full Moon is always a perfect time for releasing emotional and energetic blockages to restore the mind, body and spirit.
This ceremony is open to all and is perfect for anyone looking to align with the moon’s energy, restore balance, and step into a new phase of personal growth. This class will be held outside on One Soul’s backyard yoga platform, weather permitting.
