Description
5/17 - Guided Rest Meditation (also known as Yoga Nidra. No Yoga poses are involved)

This class meets the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the Month
Immerse yourself in a transformative relaxation experience with our special class that offers deep relaxation.

Classes will vary week to week. Title of class will be marked as just Yoga Nidra or marked as Sound Healing Rest™.

Yoga Nidra, often referred to as yogic sleep, is a powerful GUIDED REST meditation technique. In this practice, you'll be guided through a state of conscious deep relaxation, where the mind hovers between wakefulness and sleep. It's an effortless journey that brings profound calmness, quietness, and clarity. Yoga Nidra is known for its ability to relieve stress, reduce anxiety, and enhance overall well-being.

Sound Healing Rest™, our exclusive fusion, takes the practice of Yoga Nidra to another level. It combines the traditional elements of Yoga Nidra with the healing vibrations of sound. Throughout the session, you'll be surrounded by the soothing tones of Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and other sound healing instruments. This combination not only deepens your meditative state but also harmonically tunes your body and mind, promoting a deeper sense of inner peace and balance.

Whether you choose Yoga Nidra for its classic, restorative meditation or Sound Healing Rest™ for an enriched experience with sound therapy, both practices are suited for anyone seeking a respite from the stresses of daily life. No prior experience in meditation or yoga is required – just come with an open mind and a willingness to relax deeply.

Join us for a session and embark on a journey to tranquility, rejuvenation, and self-discovery.

All classes are recorded for the Meditation Library, see link below.
