Description
Just want to note here: You can make this as a shadow box, a vision board, or anything you like! It can even be done digitally! Be creative!
Hello everyone,
I’m looking forward to gathering with you tomorrow for our New Year’s Intention Craft in the Peaceful Mind Circle.
This will be a gentle, creative way to reflect on the year ahead and set intentions in a visual, mindful way. Think of it as an Intention (or Vision) Board, but very open and flexible.
You do not need a shadow box. You can use:
Foam board
A shoebox or small box
Cardboard
Cardstock or heavy paper
Or anything you already have at home
For materials, feel free to gather whatever feels inspiring, such as:
An old oracle or tarot deck you’re no longer using
Magazine images or words
Scrap paper, wrapping paper, or tissue paper
Markers, pens, colored pencils, or paint
Glue, tape, scissors
Words or phrases you print or write out
Small meaningful items, photos, or symbols
There’s no “right” way to do this. The intention is simply to create something that reflects what you’re inviting into the new year, using what you have on hand.
As always, we’ll begin with a 7-minute grounding meditation, then move into the creative time together. You’re welcome to share what you create, but sharing is always optional.
Come as you are, bring what you have, and let it be simple.
See you tomorrow 💛

As we enter a new year, we are invited to listen inward—not through resolutions or pressure, but through quiet reflection and the wisdom of the heart. In this gentle, meaningful workshop, you’ll create a personal Shadow Box Altar to support and guide you in the year ahead.
There is no art experience needed.
Nothing to “get right.”
This is a slow, intuitive, calming process.
We’ll be working with selected oracle card imagery: cards that have completed their active use and are ready to be transformed into symbolic reminders. You’re welcome to bring an old or unused deck of your own if you’d like to repurpose it into new meaning.
You’ll choose a textured background, select a crystal to anchor your intention, and gather simple natural elements (imagery, words, dried flowers, soft fabrics, and gentle color). Together, we’ll arrange these elements inside a shadow box to create a beautiful, supportive altar piece for the year to come.
We move slowly and quietly, with warm tea and soft guidance.
2026 Update for Peaceful Mind Circle
Due to some shifts within the group — including schedules and availability — we’ve made a few small adjustments to how the Peaceful Mind Circle meets.
We now gather on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month as a shared practice and support space.
Each gathering begins with a 7-minute grounding meditation, followed by time to share, reflect, and receive support around:
Applying mindfulness and meditation in daily life
Navigating challenges with practice
Sharing supportive resources, ideas, or tools
Occasional mindful creativity experiences (announced in advance)
This is a relaxed, welcoming circle — not a class and not a commitment. Come when you can. Each gathering stands on its own.
✨ Upcoming Dates
Friday, January 9 — New Year’s Intention Craft
Friday, January 23 — Peaceful Mind Circle gathering
(January includes a holiday and an extra Friday, so things are a little “off” this month — we’ll return to our regular rhythm moving forward.)
We look forward to practicing, connecting, and supporting one another as the year unfolds.
