Description
In our restorative classes, we focus on cultivating balance to harmonize the flow of energy (prana) throughout the body. By lying down on the mat for supported poses and engaging in mindful breathwork, we create space for deep relaxation and energy renewal. Gentle movement at the beginning and end of the class further enhances this experience, helping restore equilibrium to both the body and mind.

No Yoga Props? No Problem! 🧘♀️✨
Did you know you can enjoy the benefits of restorative yoga using items you already have at home? Here are some easy substitutions:
🛏 Yoga Bolster = Pillows
Stack firm bed pillows or couch cushions to create a supportive base.
🛋 Blocks = Sturdy Books
Use a few hardcover books stacked together and secured with a strap or scarf.
🛌 Blankets = Towels
Soft blankets or large towels work perfectly for extra comfort and support.
🪢 Strap = Belt or Scarf
Grab a long scarf, belt, or even a robe tie to assist with stretches.
👁 Eye Pillow = Washcloth
Fold a soft washcloth to gently cover your eyes and promote relaxation.
Restorative yoga is about comfort and ease. Don’t let a lack of props hold you back from finding your inner calm. Join me in class and let’s create a cozy, supportive practice together.
FAQS
What should I wear to class?
You’ll want to wear warm, comfortable clothing that allows you to lay on the floor and does not constrict your movement. The room will not be heated. Think sweatshirts/hoodies, sweatpants, socks, long sleeved shirt.
Can I eat before class?
Ideally you want to have an empty stomach for Restorative Yoga, so make sure you have last eaten 2 hours before class starts.
What should I bring?
Yoga mat, blankets, bolsters or cushions, eye pillow and whatever you need to be comfortable.
