A 60-minute relaxation experience to reset your nervous system, release deeply-held tension, unwind your mind and leave you with a refreshed sense of peace and ease. A fusion of Restorative Yoga poses and heated basalt stones for deep, soothing relaxation. Includes gentle joint opening warm-up, three-four 10-12 minute poses, and a guided meditation with sound healing.

In our restorative classes, we focus on cultivating balance to harmonize the flow of energy (prana) throughout the body. By lying down on the mat for supported poses and engaging in mindful breathwork, we create space for deep relaxation and energy renewal. Gentle movement at the beginning and end of the class further enhances this experience, helping restore equilibrium to both the body and mind.

Deb is a E-RYT500 Yoga Teacher, Sound Energy Healing Practitioner, and a Certified Aromatherapist

FAQS
What should I wear to class?
You’ll want to wear warm, comfortable clothing that allows you to lay on the floor and does not constrict your movement. The room will not be heated. Think sweatshirts/hoodies, sweatpants, socks, long sleeved shirt.

Can I eat before class?
Ideally you want to have an empty stomach for Restorative Yoga, so make sure you have last eaten 2 hours before class starts.

What should I bring?
We have mats, blankets and props at the studio. If you would like to bring your yoga mat and your own eye pillow if you have one, you can do so. And if it helps you feel comfortable, you can bring one or two blankets from home – one to cover your yoga mat with for warmth and softness under your body, and one to cover yourself with to keep in your body heat.

Props used: bolsters, blankets, blocks, pillows, eye pillows, heated rice bags, and sand bags to support the practitioner. It promotes deeper relaxation and creating space for healing. We have props available but you can bring your own so you can be as comfortable as possible.
