Description
In this Mindfulness Meditation class, I will be introducing you to a variety of mindfulness meditation practices. This class is perfect for beginners or practitioners alike.
Depending on the subject I have planned for class, I may include one or two meditations. I will always guide you in the meditations with prompts.
After we conclude our practice, I invite you to a mindful sharing of our experiences. I am always happy to answer any questions that you may have about your meditation practice.
30-45 minutes depending on questions and comments.

These sessions are to bring relaxation to your mind and body and de-stress from your busy life. Sessions are a guided rest meditation (yoga nidra) with at times crystal singing bowls added to soothe and bring additional calm.

The author of Self-Compassion follows up her groundbreaking book with new ideas that expand our notion of self-kindness and its capacity to transform our lives, showing women how to balance tender self-acceptance with fierce action to claim their power and change the world.
Kristin Neff changed how we talk about self-care with her enormously popular first book, Self-Compassion. Now, ten years and many studies later, she expands her body of work to explore a brand-new take on self-compassion. Although kindness and self-acceptance allow us to be with ourselves as we are, in all our glorious imperfection, the desire to alleviate suffering at the heart of this mindset isn't always gentle, sometimes it's fierce. Release stress and anxiety and welcome peace with this sound bath with a variety of instruments. Let the sound vibrations soothe your being.
This sound bath will use Crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, but many other instruments, like gongs, chimes, monochord, drum, and more. We may use a mantra to submerge deeper into meditative bliss.
Enjoy the journey of sound where you are completely bathed in the gentle, healing vibrations.
In this session, you can sit or lie on the floor supported by various props, yoga mats, blankets, bolsters, eye pillows, and sand bags to bring comfort to the body. These are available at the studio. If you want to bring your own props to feel comfy, you are welcome to do so.

Description
This free donation-based class is held Sunday mornings. We begin with a short inspirational reading that you can choose to reflect on during your meditation.
During this guided meditation, gentle bells may be rung to help you to return to the present moment. After the 20 minutes of meditation, we will have a mindful sharing of our experience.
Fee: Free, By Donation, or Monthly Membership
After the class ends, you will receive an email containing a link where you can pay what you would like.

Description
The Sunday Meditation Sound Healing Circle continues to evolve providing a deeply touching session of insight and awareness.
We initiate the circle by elevating our energy and dissolving blockages and negativity through a walking meditation around the room while tapping singing bowls. I guide us through an affirmation that we silently repeat in our minds. After a few minutes, we return to our seats to engage in a seated meditation. Singing bowls may be struck intuitively during the meditation. This is followed by a brief sharing session, where participants reflect on their present moment experiences.
Next, we embark on a healing meditation tailored to the theme of the day (such as release, gratitude, self-love, or other topics), utilizing singing bowls and an uplifting statement.
Upon completing the second meditation, we connect with one another by sharing our thoughts and feelings that emerged during the session. This serves as a precious healing opportunity, and we part ways in a spirit of upliftment and renewal.
During our most recent Sunday session, we explored the theme of release, engaging in a profound conversation about how it uniquely resonated with each of us.

Fee: $12.00 per each week's class or Studio Membership
NOTE: Outside door is unlocked 10 minutes before class and will be locked again at the start of class so be sure to come early.

2114 N. Sherman Avenue, Suite 6-8 (formerly Northside Yoga’s space) We are located downstairs of DuWayne’s Salon and Massage East.

These sessions help to bring relaxation to your mind and body and de-stress from your busy life. Sessions are a guided rest meditation (yoga nidra) with gentle sound healing added at the midpoint to soothe and bring additional calm.
We may start off with warming up our joints and short seated practice, then move into the practice where you can lie down.
Class meditation varies each week of what is offered as you lie on a yoga mat with blankets, bolsters, and other props.
Fee: $15 or Membership
