Erica Settino
Erica Settino is a neuroqueer yoga teacher, author, artist, activist, and witch whose work lives at the intersection of yoga, mindfulness, creativity, witchcraft, Tarot, and neurodivergent wisdom. She has been teaching yoga for nearly 25 years to children and adults, offering Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Restorative practices that invite students into deeper connection with their bodies, breath, inner wisdom, and the present moment. Erica has studied extensively with a wide range of influential teachers, but most profoundly with Cyndi Lee, whom she earned additional certification from in 2013, deepening her exploration of mindful movement, embodiment, meditation, creativity, and the intersection of contemplative practice and everyday life. Her teaching continues to evolve through an ongoing engagement with yoga, somatic awareness, mindfulness, Tarot, nature, art, and her own lived experience as a neurodivergent practitioner. In addition to teaching yoga, Erica facilitates mindful arts experiences and offers workshops and classes exploring the intersections of yoga, Tarot, creativity, spirituality, and embodied self-inquiry. Her approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, accessibility, and the belief that yoga can be a powerful practice for connection, self-discovery, and both personal and collective transformation. She is also a published author and poet, and the founder of the yoga-based nonprofit organization, Karuna For Animals: Compassion In Action, Inc.

Description

Please reach out and let us know what time and dates you'd love to see this class! If you’ve been telling yourself you’re too stiff, too out of shape, too unsteady, too old, too injured, or just “not what you used to be,” this class was made with you in mind.

You do not need to be flexible. You do not need to know yoga. You do not need to prove anything.

You just need to show up as you are.

Drawing on 18 years of teaching experience, including professional experience teaching yoga and chair yoga at local hospital group, Carilion Wellness, Page offers a supportive, practical approach to movement that meets you where you are today and helps you build from there.

We’ll work with balance, gentle strengthening, mobility, breath, coordination, and body awareness in ways that translate directly into real life: getting up and down more confidently, feeling steadier on your feet, trusting your body again, and moving through the world with less hesitation.

Even our historic studio gives us something interesting to work with. The sanctuary floor has a gentle natural incline, creating subtle new challenges for balance, spatial awareness, coordination, and proprioception as your confidence grows.

But this is not about pushing through or keeping up.

It’s about discovering what your body can do now, not comparing it to what it could do five, ten, or twenty years ago.

**Good for:** Beginners, active aging, returning to movement after time away, injury recovery, rebuilding strength and balance, and anyone who wants to feel more capable and confident in their body.

No Experience Needed

Never done yoga? Perfect. Haven’t exercised in years? You’re still welcome.

Zero Performance Pressure

Move at your own pace. Rest when you need to. Use a chair. Modify. Ask for help. There is no “behind” in this room.

45-Minute Class + Breathing Room

We leave a 15-minute buffer before and after class so you have time to arrive, get settled, ask questions, and leave without feeling rushed.

*How you’ll feel: A little steadier. A little stronger. More trusting of your body. And maybe surprised by what you’re still capable of.

Because the goal isn’t to move like you used to.

It’s to feel good moving through the life you’re living now.
