I grew up as an equestrian and rode competitively for about 19 years. My body went through a lot of trauma from the sport, I had several concussions and I developed chronic multiple joint pain on my whole right side of my body. On top of my pain I also developed a form of diabetes called MODY when I was a teen. I was on a downward slope of depression and anxiety, and felt miserable in my body. I found Bikram yoga when I was a senior in high school and instantly fell in love. It was great finding something that would help me release some energy and challenge me. After a few years of practicing Bikram I was craving more. So I started doing more at home practices and doing research on different styles of yoga. When I found Vinyasa it was a yes moment. I loved it so much I knew I wanted to become an instructor to help others feel the way Vinyasa was making me feel. So I found a studio in my hometown called Jaya Yoga, and began karma work at the studio. A year into being at Jaya I signed up for the 200hr YTT and completed my training back in 2020. Yoga has helped me so much with my health conditions and has really improved the quality of my life. I love sharing my love and passion for yoga with my in person & virtual community. I know from my personal journey that yoga can and will help make you feel mentally,physically stronger and help you live your life to its fullest. I look forward to seeing you on your mat. Namaste

The yoga program at Trapp Family Lodge aims to provide you with custom, quality yoga instruction. Through careful attention to your body, we teach principles and techniques that cultivate body awareness, demonstrate proper alignment, promote muscular strength and flexibility, use breath for concentration and relaxation, and improve the quality of your energy.
