Zo'n 14 jaar geleden kwam ik tijdens een burn out in aanraking met yoga. Vanaf het eerste moment voelde ik dat yoga bij me past en mij zoveel aan rust en bewustwording en energie brengt. Mijn eerste korte teachertraining volgde ik 13 jaar geleden waarnaar er meer volgden. In de loop der jaren ben ik me steeds meer gaan verdiepen in het yogapad en de achterliggende filosofie.
In mijn lessen komen meerdere delen van het achtvoudig yogapad aan bod ,de focus ligt echter vooral op de adembeheersing en de houdingen.

This workshop is for those Curious about the Ashtanga Yoga Method and benefits, Beginners
Practitioners, Practitioners who are interesting in break down the postures and work more effectively.
In this workshop we will dive into the principles of the Ashtanga Yoga Method as a practice we can
embrace according to our daily life and routines:
What is about the structure of the Method, starting with the sense of gratitude through the Opening
Mantra, Meditation in movement, linking breathe, focus, and body, and the different ways we can
access to this practice since a place of healing and wellness and health benefits.
Topics:
1. The Tree of Practice
2. Breathe: Ujjaji Breathing (Present Moment), Focus: Dristi (Concentration), Posture: Asana
(How to approach the body according to my needs) and Coordination.
3. The roll of: ¨engagement¨: Mula Bandha, Uddijana Bandha, Jalandara Bandha: Practice

4. The structure of the Sequence: Primary Series: Standing, Seated, Final Poses
5. My Physical Practice (A specific body on the posture
