Join me for a deliciously relaxing and deeply restorative Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra class.
Restorative Yin Yoga is all very low to the ground; we use lots of cushions and blankets to prop up the body in various long holding poses. This is a perfect session to do to bring yourself some peace and calm. Wear warm clothes that you can move in, light some candles and let's get seriously relaxed!
Restorative Yin is good for many bodies because it is very slow moving and is definitely not to be considered a work out. We bring deep breath focus, and stay in positions much longer than usual with an emphasis on letting go as opposed to engaging the muscles.
We will also have a Yoga Nidra session at the end which feels like a guided relaxation. Yoga Nidra allows us to go into a deep state of relaxation akin to sleep, whilst still being awake.
This class is a real Friday night treat to unwind for the weekend!
