Welcome to Yogi Book Club with Steph Leske, I am so happy you are here! This is no ordinary book club!
This is a fully themed evening with the print out contemplation prompts around the books themes to take home, home-baked snacks tea & cosy discussion. We also move mindfully, the evening is interspersed with Yoga & breathwork & guided meditation. Bringing you an evening of relaxation , mindfulness, self empowerment & thought provoking conversation. March's book is, The Perfectionist's Guide to Losing Control by Katherine Morgan Schafler. This book is wonderful. We all think our perfectionism is a bad thing... oh no no no. This book is a total reframing on the different types of perfectionism personalities & how to use the good traits to outweigh the ones that seem to stop us in our tracks!
The evening will be broken up into shorter moments of discussion & movement to allow for the two hours to be more digestible.
Each book is chosen with a wellness/ self care theme in mind to deepen your practice & support you on your self love journey. The print out that you will be given at the event, you can use the prompts at home as you read or listen a long with the book to guide you to go deeper, into the themes of the book & yourself.
I do my best not to have any spoilers at the event through the mediations and discussion prompts so that there is no requirement to have read the book prior to the Yogi Book Club!
We will ground into the body with breathwork, meditation. There will be yoga, suitable for all levels or seasoned yogis. We will close the evening with a yoga nidra based on the themes & discussion topics from the books theme.
I cannot wait to share this next event with you all! Please bring a mug for your tea, if you have a special one you like to drink out of although do not worry if you forget The Studio has some for you to use.
