Andrew is a practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga yoga with a calm, steady approach. He enjoys teaching students of all levels in a way that feels accessible, supportive, and sustainable.
His classes emphasize the foundational principles of the Ashtanga practice—asana, breath, and drishti—while encouraging students to move in ways that honor their individual bodies. Through consistency, he invites students to build strength, flexibility, and awareness.
Andrew studied at the Ashtanga Yoga School of Raleigh and YogaSix, and is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500). Outside the studio, Andrew is an engineer who develops video games and values time spent with his family.

The active series is a different take on the first and second series of Ashtanga yoga. It is more accessible, and is a great introduction into the world of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga. The active series isn't about perfect, but it's about moving, breathing & staying dynamic. This is a great practice for those that are new to Ashtanga vinyasa yoga!
