Andrew is a practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga yoga with a calm, steady approach. He enjoys teaching students of all levels in a way that feels accessible, supportive, and sustainable.
His classes emphasize the foundational principles of the Ashtanga practice—asana, breath, and drishti—while encouraging students to move in ways that honor their individual bodies. Through consistency, he invites students to build strength, flexibility, and awareness.
Andrew studied at the Ashtanga Yoga School of Raleigh and YogaSix, and is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500). Outside the studio, Andrew is an engineer who develops video games and values time spent with his family.

Ashtanga Vinyasa is a dynamic and powerful practice that synchronizes breath with a flowing series of postures, fostering a deep connection between your mind and body. Through this disciplined approach, you'll embark on a holistic journey to unlock your true potential.
During this class, we will practice the 1st, the primary series (there are 6 series in total). The primary series is intended to be the introduction into Ashtanga Vinyasa. Although the class is a challenging one, all levels of yoga practitioners can attempt and practice it. Modifications will be suggested throughout class.
