Charlotte Waugh
Charlotte is a 500 certified yoga teacher from Arohan Yoga (2021) and Himalayan Yoga Association (2025) in Rishikesh India, plus an additional 30hr Yoga Anatomy certification online from Laura Goellner (2023). She loves learning just as much as teaching, because to teach is to learn; so no doubt these won’t be her last certifications. Charlotte has 4 years experience teaching and 10 years of personal practice. She loves teaching Hatha and Yin yoga, and recently has been discovering ways to incorporate fun varieties and sequences involving primal movement and mobility routines. She believes in the importance that we should enjoy and look forward to our movement practice or exercise, instead of feeling like we need to tick it off like a chore done. Instead of focusing on the goal, she will help you take away the pressure to achieve, and fully embrace your perfectly imperfect individuality in the present moment. Just as we welcome fast paced movement, we must also balance ourselves with stillness, which can be mentally challenging for many. This is where we can benefit from Yin Yoga and accept that both are as important as the other. At Vaya Studio Charlotte will give restorative Yin Yoga classes, and stay tuned for her Primal Fusion class coming soon.

Yin Yoga

Give your muscles a break and let’s target the connective tissues in the body instead such as the ligaments, tendons, and cartilage. Yin Yoga helps build flexibility in the joints; just as important for reducing risk of injuries as muscle strengthening, except how often do we allow ourselves to pause and be still instead of rushing through our stretching?

The slow pace of this class also offers your mind the space and quietness to find clarity, reduce stress and anxiety, and give your nervous system a reset. This is the space where you recharge yourself before heading back into the quick pace of life again.

You don’t need to be flexible, or have experience. The class will be totally floor based, and we will use a variety of props to support your body in each pose.

• Arrival Time: The yoga room opens 15 minutes before class. Please arrive between 15–5 minutes early to get settled.

If you still need to pay (Cash, MBway, or Revolut), please arrive at least 30–15 minutes before class to complete payment and secure your spot.

If you reserved a spot but haven’t paid online, your spot is not guaranteed.
To secure your place, please complete your payment at least 30 minutes before class—either online or at the studio. If the class is fully booked, unpaid spots may be given away.

• Cancel at least 1 hour before class to receive a class credit (depending on your pass type).
