She is an Ayurvedic Practitioner Graduate of Mount Madonna College of Ayurveda class of 2009, and she teaches seasonal diet and lifestyle classes, and leads Ayurvedic detoxification cleanse programs. She is also, since 2015, a dedicated student of the teachings of the late BKS Iyengar and Iyengar Yoga. Diana is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher and currently studies with Senior Iyengar Yoga mentor Holly Walck Kostura. Yoga and Ayurveda have been essential in Diana’s growth and evolution as a human being. Iyengar yoga has helped her overcome 15 years of chronic back pain and SI joint issues. Yoga & Ayurveda have nourished her with holistic awareness, strength, resiliency, and freedom. Shelby relocated to Maui over a year ago from Maine with her partner Timothy, and their fur baby Saul. Shelby has nearly a decade of experience in the field of Social Work and currently supports children and families on island through Aloha House. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work. Shelby is also trained in Reiki and pranayama healing practices. She completed her 200HR YTT in Portland, ME at The Portland Yoga Project. Her Intuitive Flow yoga practice focuses on alignment, moving emotions and guided meditation. Diana De Piñeres
Diana has been honing her yoga teaching craft since 2003. She first trained to teach under the tutelage of Advaita Vedanta and Vinyasa teacher Sri Louise. She is an Ayurvedic Practitioner Graduate of Mount Madonna College of Ayurveda class of 2009, and she teaches seasonal diet and lifestyle classes, and leads Ayurvedic detoxification cleanse programs. She is also, since 2015, a dedicated student of the teachings of the late BKS Iyengar and Iyengar Yoga. Diana is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher and currently studies with Senior Iyengar Yoga mentor Holly Walck Kostura. Yoga and Ayurveda have been essential in Diana’s growth and evolution as a human being. Iyengar yoga has helped her overcome 15 years of chronic back pain and SI joint issues. Yoga & Ayurveda have nourished her with holistic awareness, strength, resiliency, and freedom. Her other loves are her surfing family, 4 pets, Colombian music, kirtan singing, Maui streams, and the preciousness and potentiality of humanity and life.

Classes build subtle heat with free movement and breath work that leads you into the most relaxed place to prepare for restorative postures. In closing, Shelby will guide you through a singing practice to stimulate the vagus nerve for continued ease before departing. Shelby has created the Inner Warrior experience by bridging the heart space, solar plexus power center and root mula bandha through song and yoga sequencing.
