Suitable for all ages, Yogalates is an excellent blend of Yoga and Pilates. This method is gaining popularity all over the world. Here are some of the benefits of Yogalates:

1. Increased body strength
Yogalates consists of 40 different poses that vary in their difficulty levels. On the whole, you have exercises that are of both low and high intensity. By engaging various muscle groups, these poses help you gain body strength. Yogalates also aids in lengthening the muscles and especially helps make your lower and abdominal back strong.

2. Enhanced flexibility
Even if you just do Yoga or Pilates, your body will benefit from enhanced flexibility. Imagine how effective will Yogalates be when it comes to body elasticity! You will be using everything from your arms, and legs to your neck and your back. All these different poses will help you stretch the various body parts and hence give you body flexibility.

Sunlight of the Spirit Yoga is a heart-opening and spiritually grounded class meant to open your mind and body to experience the healing energy of breathwork, yoga postures and coming together as a yoga community.

Leah is a 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher trained in the Anusara tradition. In this deeply relaxing class, you can expect to laugh, deepen the connection to your body and soul and feel the Sunlight of the Spirit.

Preparing for birth by staying physically and mentally strong is very important !! You only need some space to move, a chair without arm support and/or a birth ball. A yoga mat is a great tool that will support you too.

We kindly ask you to have a ball (20-25 cm) to use during the class. A blanket and a yoga mat are needed too.

Yin Yoga will allow you to reduce stress, calm and balance body and mind. It can help you improve your flexibility and mobility. We‘ll work to free up the energy in the body, making your Organs happy.

What is Yin Yoga?

In Yin Yoga we move at a slower pace, holding poses for up to five minutes. Instead of heating up, we relax the muscles as much as possible. In these passive poses we can work the deeper connective tissues – tendons, ligaments and fascia.

You are the Yin to my Yang <3

Yin completes a more heating yang practice, such as Vinyasa yoga, running or weight exercise. In Yin we slow things down and turn inward. A wonderful antidote in today‘s fast-paced world.

In our Prenatal classes we move to release tension, build strength and flexibility to prepare for labor.

Changing of your body and upcoming needs will be discussed in-between exercises, while being appropriately gentle and safe for you and your baby.

In our classes we discuss preparing your mind, body, emotions and spirit for birth. No difficult or acrobatic poses should be expected, so it's easy to join at any pregnancy stage and in any physical condition.

You will practice to:
- Listen to your body, staying true to you in every moment
- Being present
- Being kind to yourself, and take deep breaths.

If you have (pregnancy) complaints or injuries you are welcome to join, but let the teacher know upfront!!

Maak van je Sun Salutations een actieve meditatie!
Zoals je misschien wel weet is Sun Salutation A (Surya Namaskar A) een serie van yoga houdingen die achter elkaar op een vloeiende manier worden uitgevoerd en zowel kracht als flexibiliteit bevorderen.
Vaak wordt de serie aan het begin van een yoga practice gedaan om lichaam en geest op te warmen en voor te bereiden op wat komen gaat in de les.
Maar wat als we de serie kunnen transformeren naar een actieve meditatie en deze als zodanig inzetten?

Drie tips die daarbij kunnen helpen:
1. Zet een intentie. Hierdoor kan je aandacht geven aan datgene wat je graag op en buiten je mat zou willen cultiveren tijdens het uitoefenen van de series.
2. Ga langzaam. Het is niet de bedoeling om op te warmen zoals voor een les, maar om met aandacht te bewegen.
3. Beweeg met je ademhaling. Deze is het belangrijkste om je Sun Salutations te transformeren naar een actieve meditatie. Laat je ademhaling je bewegingen leiden. Niet andersom. Met elke inademing keer je je aandacht naar binnen, naar lichaam en geest. Met elke uitademing laat je los wat je niet langer meer nodig hebt.

In deze les zal Annemarie je meenemen op een reis naar binnen met 36 Sun Salutations. Doe mee en ervaar hoe krachtig een actieve meditatie kan voelen voor zowel je lichaam als je geest. Laat je niet afschrikken door het aantal; hoe je langer de Sun Salutations achter elkaar doet, hoe meditatiever het wordt. Er is geen goed of fout. Laat verwachtingen die je hebt van jezelf of van je lichaam los en beweeg mee met je ademhaling en met ons!

It has been a while since we have been able to offer you some valuable me-time in the shape of a relaxing massage. Needless to say we miss treating you!
And maybe you still have fond memories of your sessions with our massage therapists Melanie, Tami and Angèle

If anything, this lockdown has taught us it is that we benefit from looking after ourselves, so we are resilient and strong enough to handle anything life throws at us.

As part of your selfcare routine we would like to introduce you to a gentle hand massage that you can give to yourself, your children, your partner or anybody else you are currently in a bubble with.

Especially in this time of year our hands have a lot to endure: dryness through central heating and sensitivity from cycling through the cold wind and rain. The added strain that comes with doing a lot of work digitally, make us realize that there are enough reasons to give your hardworking hands some special attention.

Together we will look at simple but effective techniques that will leave you and your hands refreshed, relaxed and blissful. The nerve endings and many muscles in your hand have a strong connection with the brain, and therefore releasing stress from your hands has a huge impact on releasing stress from your entire body. A much needed practice there days.

Who will most benefit from this session:
Anybody from the age of 6 to 106 😊 It’s a fun, loving moment to share in your household or only with yourself.

Prepare a bit and get practical with us :

Some might prefer a “dry” massage or with any of the following products:
Baby massage oil, coconut oil (yes, the stuff you use in the kitchen :)), almond oil, which you can enrich with a few drops of essential oil (you can purchase it also in the studio), hand cream, body lotion, Vaseline, etc.

For this workshop please also have a towel handy.
Wear comfortable stretchy cloth, and sleeves that you can pool up easily.
Make sure that if you’re massaging someone else, that you’re facing each other. A table is handy.

Price: 15 euro for a household.

About 45 minutes before the session registered participants will automatically receive a zoom link from our system.
