Description

4 weeks · a steady introduction to practice

This course is an invitation to begin (or to return) gently, thoughtfully and with care.

Over four weeks, we lay the foundations of yoga in a way that is spacious rather than rushed. You’ll be introduced to key postures, breath practices and guiding principles that support strength, stability and ease, both on and off the mat.

Rather than teaching a single style, this course draws from a variety of classical yoga lineages. This offers a sense of yoga’s richness and diversity, while remaining clear, accessible and grounded. The intention is not to overwhelm, but to orient you - to help you feel what resonates, and to show that there is more than one doorway into practice.

Each class builds on the last, allowing understanding to deepen naturally. Time is taken to explain alignment, breath, pacing and the subtle inner cues that help you practise safely and sustainably. Questions are welcome, curiosity is encouraged, and there is no expectation to perform or “keep up.”

This course is ideal for:

- those new to yoga

- those returning after time away

- or anyone seeking stronger foundations and clearer understanding

By the end of the four weeks, you’ll have a felt sense of the practice, practical tools you can carry forward, and the confidence to step into regular classes with steadiness and self-trust.

Yoga begins not with flexibility, but with attention.
This course is where that relationship is formed.
