Fyona received her first 350HR certification in 2016 in Hatha Yoga, she has continued her education and experience by training in Kundalini, Yin Yoga, Kids Yoga, Pre-Natal Yoga, Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Reiki and Shamanic practices. Fyona runs regular classes, specialty workshops and local and international retreats.
Description
This 2-hour workshop will unpack some of the confusion around what your pelvic floor is, its role and how it functions in your body and how important these often overlooked muscular tissues of your body- from a physical and emotional perspective.
We will explore movement (predominantly yoga asana based on clinical research) to increase your connection and awareness to this part of your body.
With this deeper understanding of what your pelvic floor is, how it feels for you, how it relates to other parts of your body, and what you need to do to safely and effectively activate these tissues, your pelvic floor functionality will absolutely improve.
The workshop will be delivered by Fiona Johnson, Physiotherapist and Yoga Teacher.
There will be plenty of time for questions in a safe and nurturing environment as we are are limiting participants to 8.
Please BYO Yoga mat, blanket, towel and water bottle.
