Root to Rise: Working on our Step-Through

Description
This Sunday, we’ll be closing our Root to Rise week with a focused Step Through Workshop — a chance to slow down one of the most common (and often frustrating) transitions in yoga.
Moving from Downward Dog to Low Lunge asks for strength, timing, balance, and trust. When something feels “stuck,” it’s usually not about flexibility — it’s about how the body is organizing itself.
In this workshop, we’ll break the step-through down into simple, approachable pieces:
• rooting through the hands
• understanding weight shift
• engaging the core without gripping
• creating space for the leg to lift and travel forward
We’ll explore somatic movement, supportive drills, and clear options so you can build confidence in your transitions — on the mat and beyond.
This workshop is open to all levels. You don’t need to “have” a step-through already — curiosity is enough.
I’d love to explore this with you.
With care,
Caroline
