COVID-19 GUIDELINES AT THE SHALA

We remain open although in smaller scale until further notice.

In times of Covid-19 and other seasonal flu please observe the following guidelines when you come to practice at the shala:

– If possible shower before you come to practice

– Wash your hands before and after class. Use hand sanitizer

– Bring YOUR OWN yoga mat, avoid using the the studio mats

– Bring a sweat towel

– Take your mat home and clean it AND wipe it after every practice

– Wash your practice clothes and mat towel after each practice

– Stay at home if you’re feeling sick (you should never practice with fever or sore throat anyway)

– Avoid using props or blankets at the shala

– Be ok with not receiving any physical adjustments

We ask you all to kindly cooperate so that we don’t have to close or risk spreading any virus.

Beloved Akiko is back to get you all sorted and relaxed for the weekend with her Friday evening classes.

Akiko teaches a slow, rejuvenating and relaxing Hatha based class with focus on slow movement, deep breathing and meditation.

For those of you that are interested in and/or new to pranayama (breathing) practices do not fear. Akiko will guide you through the process with an aim to increase peace of mind.

This class is suitable for all levels and especially targeted to those who want to stress down after a long work week leaving you balanced and ready for the weekend.
