Laura Insole
With almost 20 years of personal practice and over 500 hours of yoga teacher trainings, our yoga teacher brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a calm, welcoming approach to every class.
Having studied a variety of yoga styles, she has completed specialist Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Medicine®, bringing a well-rounded and considered approach to every class.
Her yoga journey has taken her around the world. She has taught extensively in Thailand, leading classes in Bangkok and at the Shiva Yoga Ashram in Phetchaburi, where she mentored trainee teachers on a 200-hour yoga teacher training programme.
Having recently returned to Leigh-on-Sea after several years living in Thailand, she is delighted to share her experience with the local community. Her classes offer a welcoming space to build strength, improve mobility, and cultivate greater balance through mindful movement and breath.
Description
Slow down. Breathe deeply. Let go.
Yin Yoga offers the chance to pause. In this gentle, floor-based class, we'll settle into a series of comfortable poses, holding each one for a little longer while focusing on the breath. There's no rushing, no pressure, and no expectation to be flexible.
Yin Yoga is suitable for every body and is especially wonderful if you're new to yoga, feeling stiff, recovering from a busy week, or simply in need of a little time for yourself.
You can expect a calm, peaceful atmosphere, gentle stretches, and plenty of support with bolsters and blocks to help you relax completely.
Leave feeling calmer, lighter, and more connected to yourself.
Perfect for beginners. All bodies welcome.
