My main rule with anything is to not take myself too seriously. I carry this into my yoga practice; while it is beneficial, potentially life changing and a truly beautiful thing to do, I am only a guide on your yoga journey, and as such, I am here to guide you with fun.
Classically trained in pilates mat and reformer, I also completed 500hrs of Astanga yoga teacher training in Goa, India. I have also completed 100 hours of haths training, more to balance the regimental side of Astanga than anything else. I have been teaching since the start of 2018, when I returned from India.
I am also trained in yoga for trauma survivors, as I know people from all walks of life will turn up in my classes.
My favourite type of yoga to teach is what I call power flow. Taking the speed and power of astanga, I combine it with breath and grounding from hatha to create a practice that will make you sweat, and leave you feeling connected to yourself.
