Join Sonia each month for an in-depth look at common postures, form, and function. All levels encouraged- this workshop is great for those just starting out or those who desire a refresher with plenty of time to ask questions and gain experiential knowledge of the pose for each unique person. This month: Balancing Poses
In this 90 minutes class, you’ll learn and refine common postures found in yoga classes: Garudasana (Eagle), Nataranjasana (Dancer/Standing Bow), Utthita Padangusthasana (Standing Hand to Big Toe), Vrksasana (Tree Pose), Eka Pada Uttinasana (Standing Split), Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon) and variations including reverse, revolved, and bound options.
The offering includes a yoga practice, lecture, and lab to practice the poses together with verbal and hands-on assists available as desired.
