The lower back in backbends

In this class we look into our relationship with pain in the lower back. Often we interpret discomfort in the lower back as something negative, but with the right coordination, you can almost always be sure that what you feel on the thick roll or in backbends, is actually a 'healing pain'. This might open the way to just feel this discomfort, without our usual reaction of fight/flight/freeze. The breath then helps us to stay relaxed, so the lower back can start to move more freely. For this class you need a felt mat, block, backbender and strip.
