Standing Dandasana

In this class we move towards a small flow, with a standing dandasana in it. This dandasana is a crucial pose in strenghtening the lower back and teaching our bodies a movement pattern that is not based on tension, but on relaxation, strength and space for the breath.
We move slow, and in small steps, so you can really feel what happens in your body and learn this new coordination. The flow I teach is THE flow that i teach to any student with lower back problems. So if you ever experience pain, stiffness or even lumbago, this is your medicine!
Tools: felt mat, strip, and block.
PS: if you have acute lumbago now or a herniated disk, this is not the flow for you. You can try the first poses up until the 'bird dog' though.
