Slowember: 10 minutes a day for yourself
Slowember is something I have been working on for a while now so I am so excited to finally let you all in on it.
These last few years have been filled with a lot changes and unpredictability, one might even call it, unprecedented times.
Some of it has been pretty hard, like the lack of hugs and human contact. But some of it has undoubtedly changed how we do things for the better. And one thing that I have realised is how doing something just a little but often has a great big impact on our lives. Far more than doing something really intensely but less often.
I also think a lot of us has realised how important our health is, physical, mental and emotional health is simply not something we can afford to not take care of.
To make it as easy as possible to implement healthy habits that can be done quickly but often I will throughout November send out one 10 minute video a day.
All you have to do is pick a time a day, preferably the same time everyday, when you want to watch this video.
Each video will be different but they will all be 10 minutes and are designed to be used as a break in your everyday life. they will include movement, breathing, being, exercises to shift your mindset and help create new ways of thinking. They are a chance to slow down. As we are nearing a busy time of year, a time that evolutionary should be used to slow down, taking 10 minutes for yourself will not only make you feel better, but it will help you be better, a better parent, better colleague, better spouse, friend and generally a good human being.
You will be kinder, smarter, more productive and creative, you will sleep better, have more energy, be able to keep your word and generally everything will feel easier. I haven’t made all this up to try and make you do it, rather study after study show that we function so much better if we just give ourselves a break once in a while and, therefore, I want to help you get there and feel these benefits for yourself.
It is £10 for all of the 30 videos which will be yours to keep forever.
