A 4-Week Mobility Course
Thursdays, 5 PM | Starting 26th of March
£50
This course will be with similar intentions as the other mobility courses we've done, but different movement, so it will be really valuable to everyone, whether you've done a previous one or not.
Being able to move well is one of the greatest predictors of how well we age and how much we can enjoy life (and the thing I am more passionate about than anything else). When our joints move freely and our bodies feel strong and capable, everyday life becomes easier — walking, running, getting up from the floor, carrying things, and simply feeling comfortable in our bodies.
But modern life doesn’t always support this. Many of us repeat the same movement patterns each day or spend long periods sitting, which can lead to stiffness, imbalance, and aches over time.
This four-week course is an opportunity to slow down and explore movement more deeply. In regular classes there isn’t always time to go into the “why” behind what we do, but over these sessions we’ll have space to build both understanding and physical capacity.
Each week we’ll combine mobility work, strength, and simple insights about how the body moves and adapts. Over the course we’ll gradually build skills that help you move with more ease, stability, and confidence.
During the course we’ll explore:
- recognising imbalances in joint movement
- strengthening the legs to support the spine and back
- how daily habits influence the way we move
- simple ways to move better in everyday life
This course blends ideas from anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, yoga, and movement training to look at the body as a connected whole — how the feet influence the hips, how the eyes influence the spine, and how everything works together.
This course is not suitable for complete beginners.
To get the most out of it you should be comfortable getting up and down from the floor.
This course is ideal for:
- Regular yoga practitioners who want to deepen their practice
- People who move in other ways (running, Pilates, strength training, CrossFit etc.)
- Anyone interested in mobility, healthy ageing, and understanding their body better
If you enjoy learning about movement while improving how your body feels and functions, this course is for you.
