Mindfulness Weekend Retreat

16:30 - 23:00
Gayles Retreat Centre
Ylva Jones
Description
I am so pleased to finally, after a lot of dreaming and planning, be able to announce this weekend retreat at Gayles retreat centre near East Dean, East Sussex! Gayles is beautifully and conveniently situated on top of the South Downs with breathtaking views and walks around the centre. Despite being so easy to get to both by car and by public transport (the bus stops right outside the driveway), it is tucked away from any noise and as soon as you step on to the land you are hit with this feeling of serenity and calm!
This retreat is perfect for all levels of experience, including complete beginners, and fitness levels. All yoga classes will all be gentle and inclusive with focus on moving in a mindful way that honours the body.
For a whole weekend we will immerse ourselves in, well ourselves. Taking a step out of our normal lives, habits and patterns can be so rejuvenating and re-energising! By giving ourselves a brake, physically braking up our habitual patterns, we give our whole body and brain a big reset. So rather than carrying on with behaviour or habits we might not necessarily like or benefit from without even realising, this retreat can be that gentle wake-up for us to come back to ourselves.
The whole weekend will focus on mindfulness, what mindfulness really is, how to look at the concept in an easy to understand way and how to incorporate more mindfulness in your life in a way that will be beneficial for you.
This schedule is just to give you a rough idea of what the weekend will look like, changes might occur and the weekend will be tailored to your needs and requests! Everything on the schedule is completely optional, so only attend what you want! And if you are unable to arrive before 5.30 on Friday due to other commitments that is absolutely fine, just let me know and make sure you make it to 7 pm for dinner
