I teach a gentle, more intuitive style of Hatha Yoga than traditional Indian Hatha. This is known as Sama Yoga (https://www.samayoga.info/teacher/stefanie-young/), infused with elements of Qi Gong and Tai Chi as well as some more relaxing Yin postures. Mostly, I aim to feel the energy of the class, and respond to the needs of the yogis in the room. Besides postures, I use breathwork (pranayama), mantra, yoga nidra and short meditations. Sama Yoga plays a big part, both in my language and the poses, and I have noticed, that the classes packed full of Sama Yoga elements, are those that make the biggest difference to the students. Emma is passionate about teaching and sharing the wonderful practices and tools of yoga that have helped enrich her life. Body, Mind and soul. Emma started out as a personal trainer in London. Years later studying, learning and practising Hatha yoga, Kriya, philosophy, karma yoga and other courses at a Tibetan tantric yoga school in Thailand whilst living in a yogic community. After graduating with a red sash degree of 400 HRs, Emma eventually moved to Hermanus, South Africa with her husband where she taught private clients and became a mother to their first son. In 2017 she completed her 200HR Yoga Teacher training certificate at The Shala yoga school in Cape Town and went on to open her own studio. YogaBum’s studio opened in Sandbaai, Hermanus shortly after Emma's second son was born and thrived into a wonderful yoga community. Emma completed her 300 HR advanced teachers training course in 3 modules at The Shala Yoga school 2019/2020 and is now a fully accredited 500 HR advanced certificate holder. Emma completed a mentorship Cohort with Yoga for Eating disorders, registered with yoga alliance as further study with Jennifer Kreatsoulas, PHD. After 3 and a half years of teaching and running YogaBum SA the doors closed as Emma and her family decided to pack up and start a new adventure overseas. Emma’s style of teaching integrates years of experience from Personal training, dance, functional movement, Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, with a strong emphasis on anatomy, freedom through movement, playfulness, Lymphatic stimulation, breath, embodiment, digestion, creativity and often prop usage. Classes are strong but well sequenced and cater for all levels.

We, as humans, are all the bridge between Heaven and Earth, here to walk between the worlds, to fully embrace both our humanity and our divinity, and I am here to help you reclaim that. To peel back the layers, the conditioning, the stories, the forgetting so that you can be who you came here to be. Through my classes my vision is to bring you back into communication with your soul and be able to take grounded action to align with the nudges that it is calling you towards. Everything I do is here to put you back in touch with your own magic and your joy and to help you fully embody your connection to the divine.

Hey I’m Natalie 🌻 Nature enthusiast, Ocean advocate and Yoga practitioner. After many years working underwater and tuning into nothing but the breath, I wanted to find the same stillness above the water as below. This journey led me to yoga. Teaching and practicing in a variety of styles has given me a deeper understanding of balance between our yin and Yang energies and the importance of play, expression and creativity. I am over the moon to be able to share this beautiful lifestyle with you, the roots of our practices being deeply grounded in balance and the movement of energy ⚡

Niki, Yoga teacher and holistic healing therapist, is originally from the northeast of England and now lives near Marlborough. Niki has spent time travelling and exploring the world and herself. Her spiritual journey began around the age of 11 when she discovered she was an intuitive empath, can read auras, can travel in her dreams, and is clairsentient. Embracing her gifts, she has grown and expanded through training in various holistic complementary therapies and coaching techniques, including energy healing, chakra balancing, NLP, EFT, somatic breathwork and Restorative and Teen yoga. As a menopaused woman, she brings her years of experience in 4 countries & her passion for holistic healing modalities to her classes and workshops. She is proud of raising her children mainly as a single mum, cheerleading the hundreds of women and girls she has worked with over the years, sharing her beliefs, practices and wisdom for creating the best life of your dreams no matter your age or what society tells you! She loves her kids, yoga, the sound of the ocean, listening to people with an open heart and helping them grow & expand.
