An emphasis on "flowing & finding a practice with momentum".
This is a challenging Level 2 class for those who've been practicing a little while & want a more dynamic class.
Expect to sweat before finishing with a proper relaxation.

4 WEEK CYCLE OF CLASSES 03 Oct - 24 Oct

Build a strong foundation to begin, or improve your practice of Yoga. This 4 week course will focus on creating correct alignment, core stability and awareness. A steady and informative class, with time to work on individual poses this course aims to give you the confidence and knowledge to reap the benefits and enjoy Yoga.​

This is the best place to start and is perfect for complete beginners, people who have only practiced yoga occasionally, those who are returning, and really want to get the best out of every yoga class. You will gradually be introduced to the key postures for developing strength and flexibility, breathing exercises for increasing your energy and focus and relaxation techniques for body, mind and spirit. Feelings of calm and well-being can already be experienced after the first class.

ALLOW 70 minutes for the session. Arrive 5 minutes early to rest & prepare yourself for the class. Allow rest at the end to allow the body to absorb the changes. Helpful to BRING a yoga mat if you have one, this is not essential, the professional flooring is fully sprung & non-slip, suited to your yoga practice. Bring a clean hand towel for your practice.

WEAR clean, comfortable, exercise attire, that allows for stretching, bending, support & movement. No shoes are worn for the practice of yoga. Bottled water is allowed in the studio. Changing facilities available

Breath centred, alignment based Yoga. Less flows, no chaturanga or complicated transitions.

Expect deep, releasing asana, strong, yet gentle Yang style practice opening... Calmer, restorative towards the end of the session. As you reach the end of the week, the restorative becomes as important as igniting the fire! To leave you refreshed for Friday and the weekend!

A mixed levels class, where you are encouraged to stay at your level of the pose as more advanced levels are offered.
With regular practice you will soon notice old aches and pains easing and will become stronger, more flexible and better at dealing with stress.
