Discernment is: "the ability to judge well, perceive subtle differences, and gain deep insight allowing one to understand complex situations, motives, or spiritual matters." Discernment is a gift of continued yoga practice, our discipline in showing up for our practice allows us to achieve greater discernment in life.
This class is very gentle, almost restorative - we aim to open any constriction in the front of the body, and release stress in the hips as well.
Our closing relaxation offers a powerful visualization/meditation on the spiritual river that we are often swept away in - we are standing on the banks, able to discern the Truth from our vantage point on solid ground.

Props needed: blanket & yoga bolster or pillow.
