Yin: Soak in the Good (8/27/26)

August 27 2026 • Duration: 40 Minutes

This week's class helps us gather the good. Reflecting on the conditions that are present in the moment and can spark joy! Things like goldfinches, sunflowers, and the majestic full moon!

The poses are a little bit of yin, calming longer holds - and a few gentle moves where we practice krama. Krama segments the movement and breath, helping us notice our breath and body on a deeper level.

I share this quote for reflection....
"Happiness is like a butterfly: the more you chase it, the more it eludes you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder."
- Henry David Thoreau

John shares a beautiful poem by Ross Gay about goldfinches and sunflowers. The imagery in the poem is so good, I worked it into the class in a few other places too! Hope you enjoy this opportunity to "Soak in the Good."
