Description

Let's connect back to what's within, attuning to our inner landscapes. Experience how this gentle practice helps you slow down your pace, deepens self-awareness and introspection, strengthens acceptance and detachment, helps you feel nurtured and safe, cultivates heightened body awareness and offers a method to become increasingly aware of your actions and how they influence your level of comfort or discomfort (and with that creates a way for more deliberateness of action). Yin and Restorative Yoga targets the interior, supportive structures, the fasciae, literally down to the bone marrow. In contemporary society, restorative / yin yoga is a soothing elixir to help us restore balance in our stress-filled, over-scheduled lives, where most of us ask and expect a lot from ourselves. Once, we allow the body to come to true rest in yin and restorative yoga poses, regeneration and restorative processes are stimulated (all processes mediated by the parasympathetic nervous system). In our daily going-abouts, these processes are easily overridden / blocked by the little stresses we encounter (positive or negative stress), however, such regenerative processes are vital for our health, physically, mentally and emotionally. This workshop is suitable for all including pregnancy and most injuries, poses can be individually adapted or changed depending on your needs. This workshop is beneficial for all. *no refunds are possible after registration
