Join Adarsh for a four - week immersion into the “Gatekeeper” poses of Vinyasa & Ashtanga Yoga. In this course, you will gain greater context to the “why” of these often-challenging sequences and discover practical ways to overcome obstacles to progress.

DATES: 22/3, 29/3, 5/4 and 12/4 all 17.30-19.00h

Each class will concentrate on a different peak pose and offer sound strategies that you can immediately apply:
-Mobility tricks to unlock your body
-The science of stretching (AIS, PNF)
-Self Myofascia Release
-Alignment explained
-How to receive adjustments
-Self-Adjustment
-Group meditation (flow)
-Yoga tailored to your needs
-Worksheets for home practice

How it works:
Each 90-minute class will be a mini-workshop covering the mechanics of a unique peak gatekeeper pose or sequence:

Week 1: Stability First - Insight into a range of asana requiring peak stability (samasthiti, plank, headstand)

Week 2: The Bound Lotus - Progress in wraps, binds, and hips leading to Marichiasana D and padmasana.

Week 3: Deep Hips - Building to the peak pose of the primary series, Kurmasana & Supta Kurmasana.

Week 4: Backbends - The gateway to the 2nd series.

During the course, you can expect individual attention, personalized guidance, and hands-on assistance in virtually every pose. You will receive everything you need to establish or inspire your practice!
