Yin and Restorative Yoga is a gentle style of yoga suitable for everyone, it targets the interior, supportive structures, the fasciae, literally down to the bone marrow. In contemporary society, restorative / yin yoga is a soothing elixir to help us restore balance in our stress-filled, over-scheduled lives, where most of us ask and expect a lot from ourselves. Once, we allow the body to come to true rest in yin and restorative yoga poses, regeneration and restorative processes are stimulated. In our daily going-abouts, these processes are easily overridden / blocked by the little stresses we encounter (positive or negative stress), however, such regenerative processes are vital for our health, physically, mentally and emotionally.
