Description

Finally a full primary series with the traditional vinyasa count again!

This class is for all who already practice at least until purvottanasa (the third seated pose of the primary series) and not suitable for you if you don't already practice in the Mysore-style.

In this class you will be led through the primary series using the traditional Vinyasa Sanskrit Count. Practicing with the traditional vinyasa count fosters an experiential understanding of how everything may be connected, and how great attention and peace of mind can be fostered when being present to not just the poses but also through the transitions. How we get in and out off situations is very important for the situation and for whatever may follow from there - thus transitions are of great importance for the quality of mind (in your practice) and what you may harness from it.

This class doesn't only help you further understand the magic of the vinyasa count but also lets you experience a great energy when all are moving and breathing together.

If you are not practicing full primary yet, you practice until where you usually practice, thereafter your may play around a bit or simply observe until we come to backbends when you join back in. There is a great benefit and learning that comes from observing.

After practice we engage in a guided pranayama (breathing) practice before we take rest in savasana.
