By limiting the age range and having a group exclusively of girls we will explore what it means to love whole-heartedly, live mindfully, be supportive of each other, share dreams, and build trust. This Girl Power Series will challenge girls through yoga poses, co-operative games, trust building exercises, partner poses, strength building poses, and simple meditations.
We will laugh, chant, maybe even cry but most importantly discover our potential. Girl Power Yoga provides an opportunity for girls to develop meaningful relationships, and share their hopes, dreams and fears. Through the practice and exploration of yoga poses, relaxation and meditation, girls develop physical strength and stamina, greater emotional stability and a positive body image. We will practice techniques to reduce stress and to help us fall asleep without worry or fear.
This class requires a minimum of three participants.
