Description
Rooted in Vinyasa but intentionally slowed down, Ruu’s classes offer a grounding flow that meets you exactly where you are. Rather than rushing through movement, we take our time—allowing space to return to the body, tune in to sensation, and feel truly present.
Whether you're moving through something or simply showing up to be, Ruu’s classes hold space for you to land.

Jess Blake
Jess Blake (RYT-500) grew up in a family of athletes and always gravitated towards various types of movement, particularly as it related to fitness and athletics. But in her early twenties, it was in a yoga class when she realized that movement doesn’t have to have a goal. She discovered that movement could simply be a pathway for self-exploration, expression and pleasure. Jess completed her 200-hour yoga certification in 2009, followed by her 300-hour certification in 2011. With hundreds of hours of study in anatomy, restoratives, somatics, meditation, prenatal/postnatal, trauma-informed, and therapeutic style practices, her current classes are joyously informed by a love of humanity and a wonder for the natural world.
Jess’ hope is that students will leave her classes feeling more present; more embodied and aware of their aliveness and all that connects us. Jess was born in Utah, raised in Minnesota, and lived in NYC for 12 years before relocating with her husband and twins to the Hudson Valley, where they currently live in Clermont. Jess loves to dance, read, hike, swim, and drink coffee in the earliest hours of the morning.
Description
A slow and steady practice to nourish the whole body, this practice links fluid movement with breath and moments of stillness. Each class will be sequenced in a thoughtful and deliberate way and will include a gentle warm-up, classic yoga postures, simple breathwork, somatic awareness, and a restorative cool-down with rest.

You’ll learn the basics—how to use the hammock for support, simple poses close to the ground, and gentle inversions—while building strength, flexibility, and confidence. No experience required! Come ready to laugh, explore, and discover how uplifting (literally!) Aerial Yoga can be. Ages 16 and up.** Please remove all jewelry before getting in the silks, including: rings, earrings, and bracelets. Also, please wear soft clothing that is free of zippers, snaps, or anything that could snag the silks. Jeans are not a good choice for Aerial Yoga.**

Chloe Higgins
Chloe (CYT-200) is a forever student & ever-evolving teacher of yoga. She received her 200 hour certification from Rainbow Body Yoga in 2017 and has been teaching ever since. More recently, she completed (& was transformed by) the Untraining/Reframing with Sondra Loring of Sadhana Center for Yoga & Meditation in January 2025. Her post-lineage classes are deeply sensory oriented experiences, woven together with inclusive & intelligent anatomical cues, and ancient yogic wisdom. She is inspired by the marvels of our sacred Mother Earth & the Divine web of life which we are all woven into.
Off the mat, you can find Chloe mothering her two small children, walking in the woods, or with her nose in a book.
Description
Join Chloe Higgins for this hour and a half class that unites the relaxing powers of Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra to rest your entire being.
The first hour of class we will practice gentle movements & Restorative Yoga poses, using props to support our bodies in finding relaxation in each posture.
For the last half an hour of class, we will practice Yoga Nidra, sometimes known as “yogic sleep.” Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that takes the body, mind, & spirit to the state of consciousness between waking & sleeping. The body is completely relaxed while you become aware of the inner world and mind/body connection by listening to verbal cues that guide your awareness.
