Momoyoga Retreat 2025
 21—22 May in Helvoirt

We're excited to share this adventure with each of you! This two-day retreat is designed to bring our team together in the same way we support our yogis—by helping people find balance.

LOCATION

Avani Retreat Center

Avani retreat center is located in the Loonse en Drunense Duinen, enclosed by the forest in Brabant, the Netherlands.

PROGRAM

Experience what our yogis do everyday

We’re taking a break from the screen and diving into the world of yoga. This retreat is a moment to step into the shoes of our yogis.

Sound Healing with Pleuni Apollonia

Pleuni takes us on a sound healing journey. Sound acts directly on our body. Different frequencies bring you into a deep state of relaxation. When your mind comes to rest, a deeper layer of consciousness opens up. The sounds help you sink beyond thinking, to the place where your true feelings, intuition and inner wisdom lie hidden.

Team building with Teun Kapteijns

In a playful 3-hour workshop, Teun will take us outside, in connection with nature and with each other. We will talk about meaningful topics together and work on an even deeper trust within the team of Momoyoga. Expect fun, authentic connection, laughter and possibly some valuable insights and reflections!

Cacao Ceremony with Jolande van der Wal

Jolande will help us connect with our heart during a this beautiful cacao ceremony combined with Yoga Nidra. A moment of rest, relaxation and connection with Jolande van der Wal of Lifestyle Studio Dordrecht (one of Momoyoga’s first customers).

Warming up, Light Meditation and Easy Flow Yoga by Joost, Joris, Pinar

Joost, Joris and Pinar will guide you to find peace and balance in your mind, body and soul. We start with some exercises to wake up your body. After which we connect with the light that we are by going into meditation. The morning ends with a yoga class to stretch your body and feel what it’s capable of.

MORE INFO

Practical information about our retreat

Below you’ll find everything you need to know to feel prepared and at ease for our retreat on Wednesday 21 May — Thursday 22 May.

Address and carpool

The address is Het Hoog 3 in Helvoirt. It’s a 18-minute drive from Tilburg.

Wonder how you’ll get there? Check the carpool plan and make arrangements with your driver. Feel free to make changes to the carpool plan if needed.

If you drive with your own car, you can make a declaration for fuel/electricity at € 0,23 per kilometer.

What to bring

Bring whatever you need to have a comfortable time! So, your day to day clothing. Don’t forget sports clothes or a yoga outfit.

Next to that, toiletries, swimwear (optional, there is a small pond for swimming), a Momoyoga t-shirt (regardless of which edition), sunglasses and sunscreen. Walking boots or sneakers for a small hike in the dunes.

Room layout

The villa has four shared bedrooms (each for 2 to 6 people). Rooms are arranged by gender, and we’ve already assigned the beds to make things easy. When you arrive, just look for the name card on your bed to find your spot.

Food and drinks

All meals are taken care of—no need to bring anything. Dinner will be prepared by De Groene Chef, with a mostly organic and fully plant-based (vegan) menu.

Good to know is that Avani is a meat- and alcohol-free space, so we’ll keep things light, nourishing, and mindful!

Working on retreat days

Unlike our previous longer retreats, this time there won’t be dedicated working hours.

For support, we’ll set an auto-reply to let people know we’re away. There’s no need to scan the inbox during the retreat—just treat it like a weekend, where we’re also unavailable for two days. To prevent possible emergencies, there will be no deployments happening in that week. If anything is unclear, feel free to reach out to Floor via Slack.

Photos and videos

Ingo will be capturing some moments during the retreat. You’re also welcome to take your own, just be mindful of each other while doing so. Of course, we’ll be thoughtful about what we share publicly afterward. Feel free to drop your content in this shared folder

Have any questions?

If you have any questions about the retreat, the program, or if anything feels unclear, feel free to reach out to Evelien via Slack or phone. She’s happy to help!
