Momoyoga's Out of office 2026 in Maastricht

We're excited to share this adventure with each of you! This two-day out of office retreat is designed to step away from the day-to-day and take time to connect, recharge and enjoy each other’s company. We’re hitting pause and heading out together on tour to Maastricht.

LOCATION

The Green Elephant

The Green Elephant Hostel is a peaceful haven in Maastricht. Located just around the corner from the bus and train station in the city’s trendiest neighborhood, Wyck, and within walking distance of downtown. It’s a spot with a community of digital nomads, budget-conscious world travelers, and health enthusiasts who live responsibly.

PROGRAM

Slowing down and exploring without a strict agenda

We’re stepping away from the day-to-day and diving into the vibrant center of Maastricht. As our team continues to grow, it’s a great opportunity to spend time together and get to know each other better.

Free time

We've put together a relaxed schedule with only one team activity, and plenty of free time without much of an agenda. Make your free time yours, whether it’s with team mates or just for yourself!

Maastricht is well worth exploring, with its charming streets, hilly surroundings, and spots like the Sint Pietersberg and a beautiful library set in an old church. For more ideas or to get a sense of what the team is up to, check the #updates channel on Slack.

Team activity

We’ve planned one team activity that we’re keeping secret for now. It will take us out of our familiar setting and into a more immersive, slightly adventurous experience where we explore, collaborate, and maybe see a new side of each other. Nothing over the top, but a good challenge and a fun experience.

TIMETABLE

Our two-day schedule

Please note that this team activity, dinner on Thursday, and breakfast on Friday are shared moments. Times may change.

MORE INFO

Practical information

Below you’ll find everything you need to know to feel prepared and at ease for our two-days off on Thursday 7 May — Friday 8 May.

Wonder how to get there?

We’ll be travelling by private bus on the way there. The city will be explored by foot, so comfortable shoes are a must.

Everyone will make their own way back on Friday. On the way back, you can use your NS Business Card or pay for the train ticket upfront. You can submit a declaration through MijnLoket, so be sure to keep your receipt.

What to bring

Travel light. Think of your day to day clothing. Don’t forget a yoga outfit and mat if you’re going to do yoga. Next to that, toiletries, flip-flops and swimwear (mandatory for the wellness area), sunglasses, sunscreen, walking boots or sneakers, a warm sweater or jacket (for the team activity) and maybe an extra towel (there is one at the hostel). On arrival, we can leave our luggage at the hostel.

Room layout

The hostel has 12 Green Zen Pods available for Momoyoga (each for 2 people). Rooms are arranged by gender. You can book your pod here. Toilets and showers are shared.

Food and drinks

All meals are taken care of—no need to bring anything. Dinner will be prepared by De Groene Chef, with a mostly organic and fully plant-based (vegan) menu.

Good to know is that Avani is a meat- and alcohol-free space, so we’ll keep things light, nourishing, and mindful!

Working on retreat days

There won’t be dedicated working hours. For support, we’ll set an auto-reply to let people know we’re away. There’s no need to scan the inbox during the retreat. Just treat it like a weekend, where we’re also unavailable for two days. To prevent possible emergencies, there will be no deployments happening in that week. If anything is unclear, feel free to reach out to Floor via Slack.

Photos and videos

We will be capturing some moments during the retreat. You’re also welcome to take your own, just be mindful of each other while doing so. Of course, we’ll be thoughtful about what we share publicly afterward. Feel free to drop your content in this shared folder
