Shannon Ryan
Shannon’s yoga journey began with a single class in Toronto—where she instantly felt a deep connection to the practice and was hooked! That first class sparked a passion that led her to dive deep into training, earning certifications in Yin, Restorative, Meditation, Prenatal, and Vinyasa yoga. She loves blending intuitively guided movement with mindset, weaving meaningful messages into each class. Her teaching focuses on helping students connect with their heart centre while guiding them safely through practice. For Shannon, yoga isn’t just about poses—it’s about self-discovery, growth, and finding your path (sometimes upside down!). She’s deeply grateful to share this practice with our community, creating a space for connection, balance, growth and joy.

Description

Returning Home is a slow, nourishing Yin practice designed to support deep rest, nervous system regulation, and gentle release—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Postures are held for longer periods and are fully supported, allowing the body to soften without strain. This practice invites you to settle beneath surface tension and reconnect with a sense of safety, ease, and inner steadiness.

Each class is an opportunity to slow down, be held, and remember the feeling of inhabiting your body with kindness and patience.

This series supports:
~ Deep relaxation and nervous system settling
~ Releasing long-held tension and fatigue
~ Creating space for breath, stillness, and integration
~ A sense of grounding and inner homecoming

This offering is well suited for those feeling depleted, overwhelmed, or longing for rest. No previous Yin experience is required—only a willingness to arrive as you are.
